1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1. This Privacy Policy establishes the principles and procedures governing the collection, processing, and storage of personal data of data subjects on the website of the Law Firm LEX SOLUTIO, accessible at “lexsolutio.eu”.
1.2. Personal data are processed in accordance with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, hereinafter the “Regulation”), the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania, and other applicable legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.
1.3. The processing of personal data is conducted in compliance with the principles set forth in the Regulation.
1.4. Terms used in this Privacy Policy shall be interpreted in accordance with their definitions in the Regulation and the applicable legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania
2. PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
2.1. The website does not collect or store any personal data of visitors.
2.2. Information submitted by visitors through contact forms or inquiries is transmitted to the email address specified on the website.
3. COOKIES
3.1. In order to facilitate more convenient and efficient use of the website and to provide the information described in this Policy, the following cookies are employed:
„pll_language“ – utilized by the Polylang plugin to remember the language selected by the visitor;
„wp-settings-“ – used to store the preferences of the site administrator and authorized users;
„wp-settings-time-“ – used to record the time at which the above-mentioned preferences were saved.
„moove_gdpr_popup“ – Used to remember the user’s consent preferences for cookies on the website.
4. EXERCISE OF DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS
4.1. Data subjects are entitled to all rights conferred upon them by the Regulation.
4.2. To exercise such rights, the data subject must submit a formal request.
4.3. The request must be signed and must include the data subject’s full name, details of the right to be exercised and the scope thereof, and the preferred method for receiving a response.
4.4. Information shall be provided on the data subject via electronic mail.
4.5. A request may be denied if:
1) the request is manifestly unfounded or disproportionate;
2) the data subject already possesses the requested information;
3) the provision of the requested information is impossible or would require disproportionate effort, time, or financial resources.
4) the personal data are required to be retained under applicable legal obligations;
5) provision of the requested information would infringe the rights or legitimate interests of other individuals.
4.6. All requests submitted by data subjects shall be processed within thirty (30) calendar days.
5. RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA
5.1. Personal data of data subjects shall be retained for the period prescribed by the applicable legislation of the Republic of Lithuania, or, in the absence of such a prescribed period, for no longer than five (5) years.
5.2. Upon expiration of the retention period, personal data shall be permanently deleted. Data subjects shall not be separately notified of such deletion.
6. HANDLING OF REQUESTS AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
6.1. Data subjects have the right to submit complaints regarding actions or omissions that violate their rights or legitimate interests.
6.2. Complaints must be submitted via electronic mail.
6.3. Complaints shall be reviewed and addressed within thirty (30) calendar days.
6.4. Data subjects may appeal the actions or inaction of the Law Firm to the State Data Protection Inspectorate within three (3) months from the date of receipt of the response, or within three (3) months from the date on which the deadline for providing a response expires.
6.5. Decisions or inaction of the State Data Protection Inspectorate may be appealed to the competent court in accordance with applicable law.
7. FINAL PROVISIONS
7.1. The Law Firm reserves the right to unilaterally amend this Privacy Policy without notifying data subjects.
7.2. Any disputes arising in connection with the interpretation or application of this Policy shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
