1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

1.1. This Privacy Policy regulates the principles and procedures for the collection, processing, and storage of personal data of data subjects on the website “lexsolutio.eu” of the Law Firm LEX SOLUTIO.
1.2. Personal data is processed in accordance with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation No. 2016/679 (hereinafter – the “Regulation”), the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania, and other legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.
1.3. Personal data is processed in compliance with the data processing principles set forth in the Regulation.
1.4. The terms used in this Privacy Policy shall be understood as they are defined and interpreted in the Regulation and the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.

2. PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

2.1. No personal data is collected or stored on the website. 2.2. Data entered by visitors into inquiry forms is sent directly to the email address specified on the website.

3. COOKIES

3.1. In order to ensure a more convenient and efficient browsing experience on the website and to provide the information specified in this policy, the following cookies are used on the website:

  • “pll_language” – a plugin designed to remember the language used on the website;
  • “wp-settings-“ – a plugin designed to remember the data of the website administrator and authorized users;
  • “wp-settings-time-“ – a plugin designed to remember the time when the above-mentioned data was logged;

4. IMPLEMENTATION OF DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS

4.1. The data subject holds all the rights established in the Regulation.

4.2. In order to exercise their rights, the data subject must submit a request.

4.3. The request must be signed, specify the data subject’s first name and surname, provide details regarding which right and to what extent they wish to exercise, and state how the data subject wishes to receive the response.

4.4. Information shall be provided to the data subject via email.

4.5. The requested information may be withheld if:

  1. The data subject’s request is unfounded or disproportionate;
  2. The data subject already possesses the requested information;
  3. Providing the information requested by the data subject is impossible or would require disproportionate effort, working time, and financial costs;
  4. The personal data must be stored in accordance with legal requirements;
  5. Providing it would violate the rights or legitimate interests of other individuals.

4.6. The data subject’s request shall be examined within 30 calendar days.

5. PERSONAL DATA RETENTION PERIODS

5.1. Personal data of data subjects shall be stored for the period established by the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania, or, if no such period is established, for no longer than 5 years. 5.2. Upon the expiry of the data retention period, the data shall be deleted. The data subject will not be additionally informed about data deletion performed on this basis.

6. PROCEDURE FOR HANDLING REQUESTS AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

6.1. The data subject has the right to submit a complaint regarding actions (or omissions) that violate the data subject’s rights or legitimate interests. 6.2. The complaint must be sent via email. 6.3. The received complaint shall be reviewed within 30 calendar days. 6.4. The data subject may appeal the actions (or omissions) of the partnership to the State Data Protection Inspectorate within 3 months from the day of receiving the response, or within 3 months from the day the deadline for providing a response expires. 6.5. The data subject may appeal the actions (or omissions) of the State Data Protection Inspectorate to a court in accordance with the procedure established by law.

7. FINAL PROVISIONS

7.1. The partnership reserves the right to unilaterally amend the privacy policy without prior notice to the data subjects. 7.2. Disputes shall be resolved in accordance with the procedure established by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
